Steam Chalice Traditional

Made from ceramic parts, bamboo, and calabash or coconut pieces, the steam chalice is fortified from a place of balance and spirituality. An organic way to get the essence of herbs with a minimal amount of toxic by-products. Safely take in essence by steaming herbs rather than burning.

TO USE: Fill the hollowed-out coconut or calabash base with water (or ideally use coconut water), attach a bamboo rod to the coconut or calabash base for inhalation, and connect the Kutchie and bowl with a short length of bamboo. Next, put the stem (the final component) made of a longer length of bamboo within the coconut or calabash’s second hole. Then, place the herbs inside the ceramic piece which has a filter. Settle the charcoal made from the coconut by placing it on top of the ceramic to invite combustion.

TO SMOKE: Light the charcoal and wait a moment for it to heat up from the chalice before taking a pull through the bamboo.

Many Jamaicans add peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary, and coriander in addition to cannabis separately or in combination to create the ultimate herbal experience.
